Sign of the Times

I know it’s been a long time since I have posted – boy oh boy have I been busy!

I have been super caught up in work, trying to find a job as a solicitor, finishing my Masters in Legal Practice, organising travel over the next few months and trying to stay in touch with everyone! I also (finally) rejoined the gym and I’m trying to get my finances in order.

Mystic Rose in Autumn Leaves

I love wearing modern clothes that have a vintage feel to them. One brand I love to wear that has a vintage feel to it is Review Australia.

I started buying clothes from Review only a short while ago – partly because I couldn't afford it until recently, and also because I didn't realise the clothes were great quality, fit well and are beautiful stylish.

Creamy Chicken & Corn Soup Recipe

It’s well and truly winter here in Australia. I live in the cold capital of Canberra so I know a thing or two about cold winter days! There’s also an icy wind on top of having most nights sub zero… just thinking about it makes me shiver!

Winter always calls for comfort foods that warm your body and help the soul deal with the shorter and colder days. When the temperatures dip like this, it’s always a great idea to sip on soup in winter.

Packing for South East Asia + Printable Packing List

When trying to figure out what to pack for my trip of 6 weeks to South-East Asia, it was very hard to find any packing lists. There are plenty for Europe and America, but only a few for South-East Asia. In particular, there’s barely anything for countries like Cambodia.

My 6 week trip would primarily be in Cambodia, but I was also going to have a stop over in Kuala Lumpar, and possibly go to Vietnam and Thailand. I expected that it would be hot over there, but I also had to prepare for the cold weather in Australia for my departure and arrival back in the country.

So the question remained – what do I pack?

Highlights of my trip to Darwin

In mid-May I went for a girls trip to Darwin. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed Darwin – the warmth, the laid back attitude and of course the activities!

I had never been to Darwin before but a friend had moved up there and created a huge list of things to do while we were there. Here is my list of highlights during that trip that I would recommend other people do and would definitely do again myself.

Sweet Dusty Rose

Sometimes you buy a clothing item that you just fall in love with. It suits you, your style and you can wear it to many different occasions.

Maybe its your favourite pair of jeans. Or a blazer that always makes you feel like a boss lady. Whatever it is, everyone should have something in their wardrobe that they love and makes them feel amazing.

Litchfield Day Trip from Darwin

When visiting Darwin in the Northern Territory, yo know you’re in for a treat of fair drinkim Aussie culture. There’s usually two things on the top of the list of must see sights – jumping crocodiles and Litchfield National Park. Crocodiles are definitely in abundance in Darwin, and you do not want to run into them in an unconctrolled environment (such as Crocodylus Park or Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise) so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to safely see crocodiles.

When you’re not watching the crocs, you definitely should be checking out the local natural wonders. So Litchfield National Park is a must see when in Darwin. Despite the fact that you have to drive out of Darwin to see the beautiful natural wonders, it’s actually fairly easy to get from Darwin to Litchfield National Park – and totally worth it!

Review of Keisha & Co Products + Giveaway!

There’s currently so many beauty products on the market, it’s honestly so hard to choose which one is right for you. The difficulty with choosing products is that you often don’t know what goes into them – the list is a mile long with preservatives and chemicals that you would need a Masters in Science to pronounce!

On top of that there are a lot of companies and brands that test on animals and are frankly, cruel to innocent creatures. I personally have been taking steps to live a more cruelty free lifestyle, and the beauty department is the area of my life that is getting a major shakeup.

Enter Keisha & Co.
