It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything on this blog, let alone an outfit post. I blame COVID for making me feel blah.
I also have been in lockdown in Melbourne.
With the restriction of not going further than 5km from home, and only being allowed to leave for four specific reasons, there really hasn’t been much for me to report on the food or travel topics.
I also haven’t felt like I wanted to dress up considering I’m at home 7 days a week…
I know some people have taken the lockdown as a great opportunity to start a new hobby, implement a great exercise routine, cook extravagant meals, and many other things.
I started out like that back in March, but with the growing case numbers ultimately pushing Melbourne into a second wave in winter, I started feeling a bit down.
I didn’t dress up much (where was I going to anyway?)… I often just sat watching reality tv like Real Housewives and ordering UberEats. And I felt unmotivated to do anything for the blog…
But with the announcement today that the restrictions in Melbourne have been changed to allow more freedoms, I decided to dress up today and get myself back into the blog.
I decided I wanted to practice a vintage hairstyle, and may as well pair that with a beautiful new dress from Review called the Daiquiri Floral Dress.
I didn’t actually go anywhere, but it felt nice to dress up. I can’t wait to meet up with friends in the following weeks and start to feel somewhat back to normal!
