5 Must Have Winter Coats

Coats are a must in winter, but with so many styles, which ones are the best ones to choose? Here’s a list of the best coats to have in tour wardrobe this winter, along with some great outfit inspo pics!

1. The Trench Coat

A trench coat is a classic coat that can be worn in both Spring and Autumn as well as Winter. It is great to wear for work or when going out for dinner. My pick is a neutral colour like grey or beige.

2. The Black Woollen Coat

Winter days can get pretty cold and sometimes a trench just won’t cut it. That’s why a great woollen coat is perfect for those cooler days. Black goes with everything and can easily be dressed up with fun accessories like a patterned scarf.

3. The Khaki Parka

Weekends call for casual attire and right now the khaki parka is the best casual coat. It looks great with jeans or leggings, and wearing sneakers or a leopard print scarf gives it a casual funky edge.

4. The Faux Fur Coat

I certainly don’t support wearing real fur – after all, these days faux fur looks close enough to real fur you don’t need to wear real fur! White, beige or grey faux fur coats are so fun and stylish they are definitely something you should have in your winter wardrobe. Perfect for dressing up for a night out.

5. The Waterfall Coat

This coat is the perfect mix of casual and formal. They usually have a loose neckline and do up by a tie around the waist. They are great when you have a few layers underneath, are wearing a full skirt, or if you are bloated from eating a little too much rich winter food!
