Floriade Fun

Spring is here! I love spring for all the pretty blossoms, warmer weather and fun fashion. Oh and let’s not forget about Floriade!

Floriade is an annual event in Canberra and it goes for an entire month. A large park area is transformed with feilds of tulips and flowers. The huge flowerbeds depict different pictures, depending on the theme for that year. You can ride the large Ferris wheel to get a proper view of the pictures. There is live entertainment, displays, demonstrations, and fun for both kids and adults. It’s free to go to during the day so everyone in Canberra generally goes at one point in their life. In fact, people travel a fair distance to see the flowers!

I went along to Floriade with my man and my sister. We had some fun looking at the flowers, exploring around the park and taking photos. Here are some shots from the day.

Details: Dress – Valleygirl | Sunglasses – Forever New | Shoes – Rubi Shoes | (The beige hat my sister stole borrowed for the day is also mine, found at Dotti)
